A well established tradition of the club, this will be our fourth annual Fall Color Tour. Bring your camera, bring your friends. Come and enjoy one of the most colorful trips of the year.
I think it took us about four hours last year, but I will double check that and update this as needed.
We made this run about the same time last year and the colors were vibrant but not quite at peak. I am pushing it back about 5 days, and hope that we hit it right. The river is moving nicely at Greenville. This part flows through a state game area, so a lot of the trip will be through wild country. I don't know about you, but I like that.
Getting to Greenville:
Traveling north on US 131 take exit 101 and drive East on M57 toward Greenville. It's about 17 miles to Greenville. Keep going past M91 in the center of town and immediately after you cross the Flat river bridge Jackson's Landing park is on your right. You can see the parking lot from the bridge.
The take-out is in Belding on the East side at the ramp off of Park Street. We will drive down M91 to Ellis and turn south on N Bridge Street. 20 minutes one way.
