Please describe your boat(s).

1976 Phoenix Mendesta for agility and 17' Wilderness Tempest for touring and speed.

How would you describe your kayaking experience? e.g. beginner (not been out yet to a few times), novice(been out more than a dozen times), kayak regularly (been out lots of times),been-there-done- that.(out in all conditions)

After completing the 748 mile NFCT trip in 25 days, I'm proud to hold the record for the fastest solo through paddler ever.

Do you accept responsibility for your own safety and the safety of any guest you bring, while kayaking with the group? yes or no.

Please write briefly about kayak safety? Name a hazard and how you avoid it.

Doing research on the river before you go is my recommendation.

On June 13, 2015 I arrived in Fort Kent, ME from Old Forge, NY a total of 748 miles pulling or paddling my 17' sea kayak on the NFCT. Read about my journey atcktruax
