Please describe your boat(s).

I have a 17' Boreal Baffin sea kayak, and a funky 1970's fiberglass play boat.

How would you describe your kayaking experience? e.g. beginner (not been out yet to a few times), novice(been out more than a dozen times), kayak regularly (been out lots of times),been-there-done- that.(out in all conditions)

I'm a regular, been paddling for many years.

Do you accept responsibility for your own safety and the safety of any guest you bring, while kayaking with the group? yes or no.

Please write briefly about kayak safety? Name a hazard and how you avoid it.

Most hazards are pretty easy to avoid if you pay attention to what's up ahead on the river. I recently learned the importance of dressing for the water temp after going for a surprise swim in some chilly water! Now I have a dry top, but still need to learn how to roll.
