Mythaholme and the National Memorial Arboretum
A combination of a five mile walk followed by a visit to the National Memorial Arboretum (free admission)
Mythaholme can be translated as a piece of land, almost surrounded by water, at the place where two rivers meet. The Mythaholme Bridge will provide a crossing point for a planned long distance footpath from Birmingham to the Humber. The walk explores parts of the Trent valley.
National Memorial Arboretum
The National Memorial Arboretum is a very special place honouring those who have served, and continue to serve, our nation in many different ways. 50,000 trees have been planted since opening in 1997.
There is a café and a gift shop but no planned pub stop.
