The Non-Violent Communication Practice Group
Based on the work of Marshall B. Rosenberg, founder and educational director of the Center for Non-violent Communication ( www.cnvc.org), and his book Non-Violent Communication: The Language of Life
Do you desire closer and more loving relationships?
Do you want more peace, starting now?
Do you want to feel better in life?
Do you want to be heard?
In this weekly practice group, you will learn and practice a simple but extraordinary communication process that has the ability to transform your life and your relationships in profound, new ways.
When we judge, criticize, blame and demand, and think and communicate in terms of what is "right" and "wrong" with people, situations and circumstances we alienate others and cut ourselves off from our creative life force, which is what allows for a deeply joyful connection to life.
Through the practice of nonviolent communication, it is possible to transform the feelings of depression, alienation and isolation that are a result of habitual, learned ways of communicating. Join us and find out how!
