Android Netrunner Round Robin Tourney

Android Netrunner in a round robin tournament format. I'm thinking 3 games -everyone plays everyone else, then maybe a second session where everyone plays again with a different side.

It is strongly encouraged to patronize the venue. There is NO fee for patrons of the venue. For nonpatrons, a $1 fee will be collected by your host before games start and used to tip the servers after the event.

Had a great time as well. It was the perfect setting for getting to know the game. Definitely want to play more!

Thanks everyone for the netrunner games. I had a lot of fun learning how to play. I'd definitely be interested in doing it again some time.

Thanks to Omar for his knowledge and teaching of the game. I will schedule another Netrunner event in the future and hopefully someone will have a chance against Omar :).

I want to confirm who has copies of this game.

I have a copy. We need at least one other copy.

The RSVP limit was set to 4 people because the other number is six- and we would need 3 games. In addition, it would take longer to do the round-robin. However, since we have 6 people with 2 on the waitlist, I could change the limit to 6 IF:

We have 3 copies of the game.

Everyone who signs up is committed to showing up. With a 2 player game like Netrunner, if only 5 show up, someone is left out.

...just the base set, though. No expansions.

If someone else doesn't sign up by Saturday morning, I will change the RSVP limit back to 4 so we don't have an odd number of players.

I've changed the RSVP limit to 6 people, If you cannot attend, please change your RSVP to NO ASAP. Given that this is a 2 player game, I don't want to end up with an odd number of players so the RSVP limit will drop back to 4 if it goes below 6.

It is fine if you haven't played the game before. I'm not very experienced myself. I would ask however, that newbies learn the game beforehand via reading the rules and online videos.

I can bring my base set. That's all I have. I'm a newb, by the way. Hope that's alright.

I have a copy of the game I can loan out even if I can't make the game itself. Email and we'll arrange a hand-off.

I haven't heard back from anyone regarding my rescheduling email. I will probably end up rescheduling this because of Sasquatch. Does anyone have a preference for Saturday or Sunday if we do the following week?

I'd love to learn this game at some point. This probably isn't the best opportunity, but maybe a beginners night at some point...

It's not hard to learn, really. Like most deckbuilding games, it has nuances that take time to learn, but the learning curve on the basic mechanics isn't too brutal.

We have the game and will be happy to bring it. The original date, November 10, is probably just fine for us, by the way.
