Exotic Lands Theme

Here's my idea. Bring any games you have that involve some location that has an exotic nature to it. I'm thinking games that either have an exotic feel to them or actually take place in some foreign, intriguing, colorful world. This is quite a few of my games, hence why I would love a day around this theme.

I'll be bringing:

Asara - Build the tallest and greatest number of beautiful towers to appease the Sultan.

Safranito - Accurate reflexes are necessary to get the spices you need to complete some very exotic dishes.

Lords of Waterdeep - A city full of lords trying to use the towns folk as pawns to build up their reputation while disrupting the plots of other lords.

Marrakech - Assam is overseeing a beautiful carpet market in Marrekesh and you want to be the one whose rugs he admires the most.

Maharani - The Taj Mahal needs some color. You compete with other designers in laying down colorful mosaics but you have to make sure they will fit where you need them.

I'll bring talisman, I just learned the rules so it will take a little longer to play if anyone wants to try it. About 2-3 here game but there are ways to make it shorter.

I'll whatever I can fit into my bag among: Oasis, Tobago, Cleopatra and the Society of Architects, Evo, Terra Mystica, Oriente, Niagara, Mesopotamia, and Die Magier von Pangea. If anyone has a specific preference on any of that, lemme know!

Could also be titled "Open gaming- exotic lands theme" or something of the sort

Waterfalls are automatically exotic. So are islands, monkeys, non Earth planets and possibly unrealistic fictitious locales.

I could play until 5 PM, at which time the Rain City Baseball league has opening day

I could run a game, maybe Timbuktu which might fit the theme

I will also bring Fury of Dracula and Tribune, not sure if they fit the theme, but I know some interest has been expressed in these games in the past

Seems like a very broad theme - does it include all science fiction and fantasy as well? The only games it might exclude might be train games or more abstract Euros because even historical themes are exotic given that we have not lived through them. If I do show up I can bring Timbuktu which might fit what you are looking for..

Anything except medieval Europe and modern cities. Fantasy and Science Fiction definitely counts.

Sounds like fun but I can't make it, either. We're having a birthday party for our big-girl six-year-old that day.

Shawn, I love this theme idea, but I can't make it on the 5th. :(

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
