Friends of West Side Animal League (WSAL) Pages

We are a group of individuals who love animals and want to help those that are homeless find forever homes. We pull animals from various shelters and organize adoption events as often as possible to find them wonderful permanent homes.

In 2010, we rescued 427 pets--298 dogs/puppies and 129 cats/kittens--not counting the occasional bunny, ferret, hamster, and even a couple of chickens. We've spent more than $23,500 in veterinary expenses to keep our critters healthy and NOT reproducing. So we can't stress strongly enough that we NEED YOUR HELP both financially and physically.

We need foster homes and volunteers to work adoption events, keep our posting sites updated, and we have a special need for volunteers with a flair for fund raising... If you'd like to help, just let us know what you'd like to do and we'll put you to work. You'll be rewarded with all the tail wags and slobbery kisses anyone could ever want. tongue
