Pet Adoption @ Petco on Overton Ridge Blvd

  • May 24, 2014 · 11:00 AM

LETS MEET UP, GET SOME PETS ADOPTED SO WE CAN RESCUE MORE

Petco generously lets us host monthly adoption events at their facility. This is an indoor or outdoor adoption based on weather and personal preference. Please come out, bring your fosters, support the animal league and support PetCo.

All volunteers should meet at the event site about 15-20 minutes prior to the start of the event. Please comment in your RSVP if you're bringing a foster pet AND whether you have a crate or need us to provide one. We will only bring crates for those fosters that specifically request one and we have a limited number of them. Please remember:

Pets must be vaccinated prior to attending an event. If your pet needs vaccinating, contact either Karen, Carol, Kelly, or Lisa.
All pets must be in crates at the event site.
Please check your foster pet's AdoptAPet listing no later than the Thursday prior to each event to make sure all the information is complete and correct. Any changes should be emailed to [masked].
SEE YOU THERE!!!

We love coming here with our foster cats. One last month got adopted, the one today, not yet. One thing's for sure.....exposure is great at this location! Carol always has great information to catch us up on so animal details can be accomplished, paperwork-wise. Petco staff always helps when needed! Just love these events for our adoption opportunities!!!!

I'll need a medium/small for the long-legged Chi & a large one for the Shepard puppy. This will be their 1st event, so may be scared & have to be in crates for most the event. Looking forward to you all meeting them, they are such sweethearts!

If I can get my two I found last week vaccinated, I'll be bringing them. A 2 year old, female Chihuahua and a Shepard mix, female puppy (probably around 6 months old).

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
