WELCOME! We are trying to re-start the group in our neighborhood! Reseda, Northridge, Porter Valley, Van Nuys, Encino, Woodland Hills, anywhere you want to come from JOIN US! Valerie AKA The Tootsie Roll and hubby, Donn
We are a very active couple in our early 60's living in Reseda. Love to socialize and play all sorts of cards and board games. Shoot pool. Bowl. Play badminton most days. Hubby ping pongs. We are semi-retired and love to travel whenever we can. Hubby is SFV native and I am from San Diego originally.
As always, had fun playing tonight... Trying to make some regular weekly days / nights, BUT AT LEAST least every other week. How about letting us know which days / afternoons / evenings / weekends work best for YOU? And what games or card games you would like to play Hope we can get together and do it soon! Hi, I just joined your group. I noticed that there haven't been any meetups since March. Is this group still active? Thanks.
Hi Tootsie Roll (aka Valerie), thanks for your message. I'm glad you're headed up the group & looking to post new activities next month. Unfortunately I am not available during the day - I work during the week until roughly 6 pm. I look forward to catching up with everyone soon. Thanks! Kelle
My work days vary but Thursdays around 10:30am-1:30pm are best for me. Is it possible to maybe meet at the Northridge Mall or Coffee Bean or Starbucks around Devonshire and Reseda area?
Hi Valerie!! Good to hear from you again! I am not available during the day on weekdays until after 4 PM -- sorry! Hope we can do some games again soon!
love your new profile pic - is that from your travels? you guys look like you're having a great time!
we'd love to have you for Euchre. i'll try to remember to remind you in July and please think of us when you get back!
Great to meet you, too. I like to think we have the nucleus of a good group of friendly travelers. I'm still wondering how we get it all to work because travel is far more complicated than scheduling a movie night or an outing to a museum. Perhaps we'll end up splitting into subgroups based on available time or common interests or budget but, for now, I'm eager to see how it goes. Meanwhile, have a terrific trip and come back happy and healthy.
