This is our ongoing biweekly 1st Edition Game. We use the revised Orange spine PHB. We finish a module roughly every meeting and a half, all set in a ongoing campaign. We do have a PDF of the House Rules/Setting to email anyone who is interested in making a character.
Same meetup place as always. I will email anyone new the directions on the Friday before the meetup.
Continuing Lair of the White Wyrm.
At this point we should be entering the ice caves of Shanafria, the Mountain of Mirrors.
The weather has worsened and is reaching the coast. The unnatural cold must be stopped soon.
Recap - As the party finished of their encounter with the summoned guards the met up with a surviving member of the other party. He had been separated from the sage and the others. The last he saw the sage he was alive. He had spent the last day running from the patrols in the tunnels and going in circles.
We moved on and found a split in the tunnel. After an Augury a emissary of Dumathoin let our Priest know that the way to the left was filled with grave danger and the way to the right would have great benefit.
We went right and shortly after that we encountered a door and while the thief was discovering traps the halfling tried to unlock the door setting of the trap. Struck by a ray the halfling was changed into a Goatard, like a centaur but with a goat body. His new form is more capable, but when confronted with loud noises he faints and falls over.
Beyond the door we encounter an Elf and his horse frozen in ice in a large domed cavern. After another accidental fireball the Elf was freed. We discovered he was a Sea Elf bard from the past.
Before we could find out more we were attacked by some sort of humanoid vulture standing over 9'. The creature intermediately gated in another of its kind and the Goatard fainted. After a epic battle where our new friend the Bard made Brians character crap himself and the wander around dazed the Vulture creatures were defeated and and treasure was found in its nesting area.
We found some documents in a backpack and a book we are currently deciphering. The note appears to be written in Infernal and was a waring about a group of intruders in the the western entrance and a mention that the crown would be tested soon.
There are currently 3-6 players and me, but due to schedules, spots frequently open up so email me if you are interested.
