Field Trip to Lake Apopka with Harry Robinson

Come & visit beautiful Lake Apopka with us to enjoy its bounty of birds & wildlife! We anticipate seeing a lot of waterfowl & hopefully both the Least and Ash-throated Flycatchers. There's also been a female Vermilion Flycatcher sighted there lately. Also, maybe we'll see a bobcat or coyote. We will be meeting at the NE corner of the Deland Post Office (the corner by the gas station) to carpool over to Lake Apopka: 336 E. New York Ave., Deland, FL We plan to leave from the post office at 8am. Or, feel free to meet us at Lake Apopka, call Eli Schaperow for directions of where to meet there: 407.314.7965. Bring along food & drinks as this is an all day field trip. Of course, you may leave at any time that you wish.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
