Sunday Singing in Dobbs Ferry

Last time we tried improvising harmonies to well-known folk songs, which was a good way to warm up and practice tuning and listening to each other.  We'll also continue our arranged songs -- "In My Room" was pretty successful.

As always, if there's anything you'd like to try, please let me know or post it here so we can listen to it ahead of time.

I came across a short essay by Brian Eno about the importance of singing: "Singing aloud leaves you with a sense of levity and contentedness." (http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=97320958&sf13961519=1)

I am very sorry to not attend again. Major work projects are interfering with my free time. Maybe in a month or so things will calm down. ....

Looking forward to finally attending an a cappella meetup! About how long does a typical Sunday Sing last? Thanks.

Usually an hour and a half or two hours, when our voices start getting tired.
