Celebrate Power of a Smile Day

And what brings a smile to the face of our Meetup members faster than playing guitar (well OK, maybe kids and spouses, or rising real estate prices - you remember those)! But in the spirit of the day please smile at everyone you see all day long.
7:00 - 9:00: Two hours of our usual selection of songs you think the group would like to play. (We're taking a break on lessons.) Try to keep the songs to five chords or less; try to avoid C#dim7's and that ilk. Please try to have two songs and bring 10 copies of your tab to hand out to the group.
9:00-9:30ish - Showoff time - got a song you or others in the group have been practicing together and think you are ready for prime time, here's your chance. If no one jumps up we'll play a few more group songs
9.30pm-till: Socializing - when showoff time is done those interested can adjourn to Harry's Burritos a few stores from Groove. Harry's seems to be the group's new favorite.
