You tell me: Cthulhutech or Rifts?

Both are fun, both are post-apocalyptic, but one has dragons, the other, Dagon.  We'll make characters and then kick the tires.

My apologies, everyone. I have found that I will be busy tomorrow as well at 5 going forward into the evening: choir setup. I'll see you all for Pathfinder.

The actual garage is probably the best place to park...

I'm sure Crispian and myself would be happy with either one, since I'd love to learn one or the other in terms of worldbuilding or something. Just have to get used to it.

Personally, I'm up for either however, I would lean more toward Cthulhutech because I'm familiar with the mythos and any horror/sci-fi adventure with corporations certainly intrigues me but, again, I'm open to either. And on a practical note, I'm not sure which game mechanics are simplest to explain or learn in a single session, but I would say if one is far less complicated, we might consider playing that especially to integrate new players like myself. Furthermore, I concur with MarcB regarding playing with the pre-fab characters only because it will allow us to focus on learning the game mechanics right off the bat. And then should the game continue, we could always create characters later having already attained a basic understanding of the attributes, skills, powers and general world with the pre-fab characters as templates. But again, either is acceptable- as long as I can shank something ugly and scary and get juicy, juicy exp, I'm good.

I wouldn't mind a Rifts game (its been years since ive played it). Also I would prefer to make 4-8 characters and players can pick one that suites them instead of burning an entire session making characters.
