A long time running campaign (5+ years) roleplaying in Middle Earth. I have four players who always show up besides any meetup players. I am always looking for a few more players. We play in Newburgh one hour north of New York City.
We play between 12(sharp) and 8pm on Saturday. Monthly.
Current Adventure Summary
The current adventure will start by escorting “Master Fengild,” a merchant from Buhr Waldmarh, through Mirkwood on Rad Angálaladh to the Northman settlement of Maethelburg in the Anduin Vale.
“Into the Darkness” is an adventure near Dol Guldur, following a single plot divided into three parts. Occurring around 1640 of the third age, the adventure begins in the Northman town of Buhr Widu in the East Bight of Mirkwood and leads deep into the forest to the village of Buhr Dera. From that point, the story takes the players south into the heart of the Necromancer’s realm and culminates in a journey into Dol Guldur itself.
The players hired onto this adventure for another purpose. They want to directly challenging the Necromancer’s plans to hope an important leader of Mordor will be sent against them, so they can slay him and complete the Warlocks life-long quest.
L10 Dúnedain Paladin, Noble, Minor Royalty, Owner of very small keep, Plate Mail, wields a mace and two-handed sword. He is a diplomat, a friend of Gondor, and an enemy of evil specially the Easterlings.
L10 Wood Elf Ranger, formerly of Thranduil's Army and is equally skilled with a sword and bow. A friend to birds (can summon a thrush), also he has gained the look of the eagles (inspires allies around him to resist fear)
L10 Noldor Elf Warlock from Lórien, has patron in Lórien, has the Aura of the Noldor (helps friendly spell casters); he also has enhanced magical range.
L8 Beorning Druid, Hater of Orcs above all, can charge into melee with a rallying cry causing all Orcs to resist or be stunned. Wears Warg hides and a necklace made of teeth of slain Orc Chieftain (granting him offensive and resistance against Orcs, Wargs and trolls).
L8 Northman Thief, a scoundrel originally from Strayhold, duel wielder of a Falchion (the emerald stinger, magical, reduce fumbles and enhances ambush) and hand axes. He also carries the Yulmita an artifact, a small goblet that can purify water. He also wears a magic great helm that pieces all darkness and grants improved perception.
