The purpose of the Center is to promote the teachings and meditation practices of the Kagyü and Nyingma lineages of Tibetan Buddhism.

The Center hosts open meetings every Wednesday 7-9 PM at the Bedford Post Inn's Yogaloft for meditation instruction and practice, dharma talk, tea and cookies social. The meeting is open to anyone interested in Buddhist thought and practices. There is no fee for these meetings but donations are accepted.

The organizers and main teachers of the center were students of the Vidyadhara Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche. The center also hosts other teachers for programs of varying lengths at other times.
