I am with Maria Fareri Children's Hospital at Westchester Medical Center. We are your local Children's Miracle Network Hospital. On behalf of all of us at the children's hospital for the Hudson Valley & Fairfield County, we would like to thank everyone for their supportive efforts during the Extra Life campaign. Our hospital cares for the region's most seriously ill & injured kids and 100% of donations will support Maria Fareri Children's Hospital in its efforts to care for kids in need of open-heart surgery, brain surgery, cancer treatments, trauma & burn care as well as other advance services.

You are all aces in our books and heroes to kids that could use the extra support. Props to the Westchester Geeks, Modern Myths and all that do good for our region's kids.

    Cheers!!

I'm being completely last-minute in signing up online... The site seems to be down. Can we bring donations with us?

To Ali & All, if you are having trouble with the Extra Life site and would like to make a donation, you can contact Meredith at [masked]. Meredith is with Maria Fareri Children's Hospital and can work with you regarding a donation. She is NOT and IT professional, so she can't get the gremlins out of the site, but she can assist you with a donation. Thanks to all for your patience & generosity!

I'm bringing some of my own games, since I tend to prefer more "mainstream" stuff. I have Cranium, Scattergories, Twister (probably not enough room), Apples to Apples, Cards Against Humanity, LOTR Monopoly, Backgammon/Checkers, Harry Potter Trivia (based on the first movie), and Settlers of Catan (but I won't bring that, since I'm sure the shop has it).

Any interest in playing any of those?

    • Dina

LOVE SCATTERGORIES, and I don't care how "mainstream" it is perceived to be. :-)

      1 · October 29, 2013

    • Seamas

Can you make geek themed scattergories?

      1 · October 30, 2013

  • Seamas

How about a nice game of Geek Charades?

    October 30, 2013

  • Conor A.

We should probably co-ordinate the D&D and Pathfinder games. I don't know if there is enough interest in having both.

Is there going to be video gaming in MMNY itself?

    October 29, 2013

    • turkbroda

There is no TV. If people want to play VG, I would talk to Fenn and/or Damon

      October 29, 2013

  • Kyle T.

I'm running a D&D game at about 7pm Sat, after the game is over I'll have materials to run other games so anyone interested come on by. My 7pm game actually needs 1 more player, noobs are welcome I'll have everything you'll need.

If there's interest, I'd like to coordinate a Mid-day break for a Street Fighter 4 tournament at my house. Maybe take a car or two full of people, get some take-out, and play for a few hours at my place before returning to MMNY.

Do you have to stay the whole time? Also, anyone bringing an Xbox or Xbox 360 with backwards compatibility? I have an awesome Harry Potter Quidditch World Cup game that I haven't been able to play since my original Xbox broke and I know there's at least one other Potterhead at this event

I'm teaching yoga in the morning, so I'll come after. Can't stay all day, but will come to hang for a few hours and donate a little cash to the cause.

Last year our team raised over $3400... It would be awesome if we could hit the $5000-mark this year!
