Geocaching

Every Sunday we will play Box Ball (Four Square), Butt's Up (Suicide), Watermelon (Wall Ball), Manhunt, etc. Nothing too sporty or competitive, but enough to not be a Jelly Belly. This Event will exist on every Sunday that there is NOT another big WG event scheduled.

Hey all! The address is a bit wrong. The entrance to the park is right by 22 on Mt Kisko road. Don't go way up the hill. There's a big Cranberry Lake sign.

    Hey everyone!

Just so you all know, we'll be meeting in the parking lot before we set off on the trails. Some of you wanted to play 4 square\box ball, so there may be a group doing that.

Make sure you have good shoes to wear. It'll probably be a bit wet, and even if not there are rocks and stuff we'll have to navigate. Geocaching involves some non-trail hiking.

It will be sunny and in the 60's so you non-yetis may want a jacket.

Also, if you have some small trinkets that you might feel like trading, some of the caches are big enough to hold "treasures." You can take something if you leave something.

Also, I've been totally neglectfull with picking up a new hiking GPS...so if anyone has one, please bring it. Hiking GPSs are not car GPSs. If no one has one, no biggie; we can just use phones.

    See you all tomorrow!

Only 5 minutes from my place! I probably can't make it this weekend (my friend and his wife just had twins today and I'm going to visit), but will certainly go another time. :)

This is part of our "Stop Stagnation Sundays" series, but I'm sure we'll end up geocaching again at some point.

Box ball makes no sense... You are not in a box; it's not three dimensions. You are in a square!

What time should we show up for boxball?

For any n00b hikers ;) dress in layers, it's supposed to be in the 60's that day, but you will get warm quick.

Haha, just thought I'd sign up for the event, since I'm running it and all... I'll be coming up with logistics when I'm not in the middle of a book-ended week of travel.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
