Story Game RPG Night

Every couple of weeks at MMNY, we get together and play story games! They're RPGs, usually independently-produced, easy to learn, and played (or at least introduced) in a single session. Many don't require a traditional GameMaster , and most have rules focused on collaboration and shared storytelling. We can play new games, or try old favorites, depending on the mix of players and preferences.

I thought Last Best Hope was pretty cool. A lot more creative input from the players than most games I've seen.

Thanks Tom! It was fun and definitely draws on the creativity of the players involved!

It was a pretty good time. "The Last, Best Hope" doesn't run very well, but we made something out of it regardless. And that's why I come to these nights anyway; trying out new games. Some work for people, some don't. Still interested to see what other kinds of games are out there.

I'll be trying to run new games each time as well, so if something didn't work for someone one week, it may work the next time. Thanks for coming!

If this is a comic book and game store, Im assuming they don't allow you to bring food or snacks? Just wondering what the protocol is if you get hungry....

I don't know if there is a rule against it per sé, but I have in the past seen people bring their own food in. The store has candy bars, water and sodas available for purchase.

You are also more than welcome to bring food, but in case you don't there is a variety of different beverages and snacks for sale at the front of the store.

Sorry for the confusion over dates, I had messed up the 'repeat' date so this was showing as a Thursday event. It's the second and fourth TUESDAY of every month!

Rod, no need to worry, this will not impact Marvel at all!
