Dungeons & Dragons (4e) Encounters

D&D Encounters is the official organized play program for Dungeons & Dragons. Drop in any time to play a chapter in an ongoing story of fantasy adventure! No experience is necessary, we'll teach the rules and provide all necessary materials, but veterans are of course welcome! Your DMs are WG's very own Taran Harmon-Walker and Jim Crocker! Ages 13 and up are welcome, 12 and under if a parent is present during the game (you don't need to play, but can if you want!).

Admission is by Modern Myths event pass (a Day Pass is $5 you get back in store credit, and Monthly and Yearly options are available). Space at the table can be limited, so show up early to make sure you get a seat. We also have an earlier session from 5-7 pm if that fits your schedule better!

I'm a DnD n00b, but I'm interested in learning the system. Is Encounters a good place to start?

Casey, assuming you don't have a local play group to show you the ropes, it's the next-best place to start! We assume that in any given week we'll have new folks on board, and pretty much everyone is ready and willing to teach new players. If you don't know the game AT ALL, it's a really good idea to come by 15-20 minutes early so we can set you up with a character and maybe go over some of the basic basics.

Okay, if I came at 6:30 would that be enough time to get caught up?
