Graham Hills Park Intermediate Power Hike

Graham Hills Park

Distance: 4 mile power hike with hilly terrain

Let's hike the HILLS of Graham Hills Park BLUE LOOP

This is a mountain bike park with 5 miles of hilly trails.  We will share the trails with bikes and horses.   Horses have the right of way then hikers then bikers.

Graham Hills, a one-time hamlet and station on the Putnam Railroad, takes its name from Dr. Isaac Gilbert Graham, a Revolutionary War army surgeon, who settled there circa 1785.

The trails total about five miles in distance and are geared toward experienced riders. The route winds through the many diverse habitats of this beautiful 431-acre park. The trails are mostly single track, and can be used in both directions. Please exhibit caution and common sense while riding.

Directions: Route 117, Pleasantville, NY across from Pace University,+Mount+Pleasant+NY&sll=41.450992,-73.660965&sspn=0.011258,0.019248&ie=UTF8&z=15&iwloc=A

Parking: free

Park hours: Open seven days a week, 8 a.m. to dusk, year-round. Phone: (914)[masked]

Dogs: Must be leashed. Waste bags are provided to pick up after your pets.

Did I mention this park is hilly ... oh yeah, 4 miles of hills!!!!!

I'd love to go but can't seem to break away. Be careful with the dark today, I hiked Monday at 3:30 and it started to get dark also. Have a great hike, sorry to miss this one, I've enjoyed it the times I have attended.

Sunset is 4:45pm I do not like to hike in the dark at Graham Hills with the crazy mountain bikers. Dogs are allowed on a leash.

Just googled the location - sorry is not where I thought it is. Will cancel this time, but please post another hike, maybe starting 4 PM. Can I bring my very well behaved yellow lab dog, who will stay on the leash.

Would love to do this hike but starts too early for a weekday. Would be great if you could do on the weekend.
