Wow - thanks for showing this first time snow hiker how much fun it is to hike on the soft snow. Gliding slowly downhill is so much fun. Thanks Peter for arranging this last minute hike and thanks everyone for the great company. And thanks to my two friends for driving me safely to/ from home... much appreciated!

    Hey there:

Now that I'm thinking about it, maybe I shouldn't do this one w/o microspikes. Don't have time to get a pair for tomorrow.

Are you thinking microspikes or snowshoes for this hike?

    January 4, 2014

    • Liz

I have a men's pair you can borrow for tomorrow's hike.

    • Peter

Liz, thanks; please bring them tomorrow. The trail probably was hiked on today, which means that snowshoes won't be as useful as microspikes.
