Sterling Forest: Sapphire Trail / Indian Hills Trail

  • March 15, 2014 · 9:30 AM

Join us for a moderate-to-strenuous hike in Sterling Forest. We will hike in the eastern section of the park up to the Appalachian Trail via the Sapphire trail. From there we'll do the Indian Hill trail loop, and return. Along the way we'll see some of the fascinating geological formations that make this area so beautiful. Rocky trails, scenic vistas and several long, sustained hill climbs along the way.

Hey guys! Anyone can offer a ride from Manhattan?
I will cooperate with the costs, of course. Thanks!

The only one I can think of is the old, and trusted stand-by, The Rhodes Tavern North 400 Orange Tpke ( RT 17) Sloatsburg. Approx. 8 miles south on RT 17.

Looking for a ride if anyone is driving from NYC; will split all the costs. I am coming from Astoria but can meet you anywhere in the city or surrounding. If anyone can give me a ride from a Metro North train station, that will work too! Thanks!

Looking for a ride and will split all expenses...
I am at NYC Upper West Side, will meet any where convenient for you...
Pick up by the George Washington Bridge around 178th or 179th Streets or New Jersey, Fort Lee is also good places...
