Join us for a strenuous hike in Harriman State Park. We will hike in the western section of the park along the Appalachian Trail and the Long Path, and see some of the fascinating geological formations that make this area so beautiful. Rocky trails and many long, sustained hill climbs along the way. Please plan to bring something delicious to share, and we'll have a quick picnic enroute.

The parking lot area fills up fast, so please try to arrange carpooling if possible.

Equipment: Sturdy hiking shoes. Water -- at least two liters. Hiking poles if needed. Headlamp or flashlight. Trail map. Fully charged cell phone. Current weather forecast indicates moderately cold weather for Sunday, so plan to dress in layers, and avoid cotton.
Dog policy: Dogs are welcome on this hike, but must be kept on leash and under control at all times.
