Let's take a Social Hike

The feedback was very positive from our last hike

so let's do it again!

And we hardly lost any members.   *_*

I figure (Hope) that by the first week of September

it starts cooling down a bit.

This time we'll head to

The

Westmoreland Sanctuary

The Westmoreland Sanctuary is located on the Bedford / Mt Kisco boarder right off Interstate 684 ex 4 Route 172

We'll meet in the parking lot at 12:15

We wait 15 minutes for late comers and start the hike at

at 12:30

This will be a moderate hike. We are a social group so we will be going at a very modest pace.

This hike should take about 2-3 hrs total

Attire: Hiking Boots or sturdy walking shoes is always recommended. Depending on the weather, bring gloves to protect your hands and wear layers of comfortable clothing.

Food: To be safe, bring enough food for 4 or 5 days in case we get lost. LOL, Just kidding.

I should be able to get us out of there in ONLY a couple of days. *_*

Bring lunch or Light snacks and water.

Bug spray, Sun screen and a walking stick are always good to have

Kudos to Bob! Westmorelond Sanctuary was a good choice for a social hike. The weather cooperated and the trails that Bob chose were just right for the various levels of outdoor enthusiast. It was a nice afternoon outdoor escape.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
