The feedback was very positive from our last hike

    so let's do it again!

And we hardly lost any members.   *_*

We'll meet in the parking lot at 1:15

We wait 15 minutes for late comers and start the hike at

    at 1:30

    This time we'll head to

    The

    Westmoreland Sanctuary

The Westmoreland Sanctuary is located on the Bedford / Mt Kisco boarder right off Interstate 684 ex 4 Route 172

This will be a moderate hike.

We are a social group so we will be going at a very modest pace.

This hike should take about 1 to 2 hrs total

(More on the shorter side if the weather is too cold)

Attire: Hiking Boots or sturdy walking shoes is always recommended. Depending on the weather, bring a hat and gloves to protect your hands

and wear layers of comfortable clothing.

Food: To be safe, bring enough food for 4 or 5 days in case we get lost. LOL, Just kidding.

I should be able to get us out of there in ONLY a couple of days. *_*

Bring lunch or Light snacks and water.

Bug spray, Sun screen and a walking stick are always good to have.

Wimpification is taking over me :) I hear wind-chill temps in the single digits tomorrow so it's a "game-time" decision for me.

I so wanted to go on this hike with everyone, but I have to take my daughter back to college. Was hoping to do both...but don't have the time. See you all next time!
