Wednesday Evenings on the Trail

  • June 26, 2013 · 6:15 PM

Time to head SOUTH for our Wednesday Evening Rail Ride Series!

So we'll start from the Amawalk North County Trailway intersection, head south along the trailway down past the Kitchawan Preserve on Old Croton Reservoir to Millwood, then back to the starting point. Fairly flat the whole way. The route is about 18 miles in total, with plenty of time before the sun sets @8:30pm.  Please arrive in time to LEAVE by 6:15pm.

Peter, Are the rail trails paved? I have a road bike....wouldn't do well on gravel or rough surfaces?!

The North County Trail is paved, yes. A road bike will ride just fine on that trail. Hope this helps!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
