Bethel Cyclefest

Come join me for a day of touring and fun with friends! We can all register and group together for whatever length of ride we want to choose! Once Registered, add your name as an attendee and we will group accordingly.

The 22nd Annual CycleFest will take place on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at Bethel Middle School (Bethel, CT). CycleFest is one of the oldest, safest and most scenic self-paced charity rides in Western CT and offers 105, 80, 54, 23 and 14 miles route options. Proceeds from the event will benefit Danbury Youth Services’ Earn-A-Bike, a program that gives disadvantaged kids the chance to own their very own bicycles. Registration Link:

All routes are patrolled by SAG wagons and we will offer free bike repairs at the rest stops courtesy of Bike Express of Danbury and the Bicycle Center.

Here are a few important registration notes. Registration opens at 7AM and ends at 9:30AM. To help you connect with other cyclists who are riding your loop option, we suggest the following start times: 105 mile - 7:30AM; 80 mile - 8:00AM; 54 mile - 8:30AM; 23 mile - 9:00AM; 14 mile - 9:30AM.

To make your ride as smooth as possible, we will be mapping out all routes for those of you who wish to download them to your navigation devices and we will send you links closer to the event date.

Cue sheets will also be available at registration. Parking: CycleFest starts at Bethel Middle School, 600 Whittlesey Ave., Bethel CT, where there will be ample parking.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
