1st half of hike, the Breaks were too long, I didn't feel they were necessary b/c we hadn't really expended much energy at that time (ie no hills). Would have liked a pace like we did in 2nd half throughout the hike.

So many new faces! and many that have hiked with us throughout the last year.. all mingling and chattering like old friends :)
The weather cooperated by being less humid than expected - most folks hiked the entire 7 miles although a good number took advantage of the 'early out' options.

It was a perfect introduction to this group. It was a great hike, and I talked with some interesting and nice people. I look forward to doing it again.

I really enjoyed this hike. I thought it was well organized and challenging. I could go on harder hikes as long as it isn't 100 plus degrees. Everyone was really friendly.

Better than expected weather and a great crowd made this hike a success.

A lovely hike, despite the heat. Only downside was finding ourselves on our own at the end and trying to figure out which was the right way to go.

A good place to hike when it is hot and humid like it was. Even with the big group there was plenty of space. Was able to make diner this time, normally no point as I live in other direction. Maybe sometimes going to a local place might make sense to socialize after the hike?

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
