Hi,
I'm Paula, the organizer for this Hikers Group. My group was the first Hiking Meetup group in the area and has grown from 73 members when I became the organizer in March 2005 to over 1,100 in March 2011!!
All are welcome to join, but know that the hikes will be moderate in pace, distance & terrain and unless specifically stated - these are not strolls or walks - they can be a challenge!

*Keep in mind - it's all relative to your level of fitness and experience... for some my hikes and PDT may be difficult, for some on the easy side. READ the descriptions, rsvp YES and come on out - you never know what you can do until you try!! :)

I invite you to read the posts on the first page of the message board for more information on how I run this group (How to get into a hike, etc) and the hikes and events I've had in the past. You can also access past events & upcoming events in list form from the calandar page.
