Seed Saving Workshop

A Wendell Seed Saving Workshop will be held at 2pm on Sunday September 29, 2013 at 120 Cooleyville Rd. in Wendell. This workshop will demonstrate how to extract and save seeds from annual open pollinated, heirloom, and self pollinated plants. It will also cover how to safely store seeds after proper drying, until the next planting season. Please join Gail and Nina from Moonlight Turtle Lodge to learn seed saving techniques. We are starting a Wendell Seed Saving Library in conjunction with the Wendell Free Library which will open in March of 2014. It is our hope through education and learning together the art of seed saving, that we will have a greater diversity of seeds. The workshop is free courtesy of the local food security project. Hope to see you there ! For questions contact Gail Mason at [masked]

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
