Meetup at West Springfield Public Library

This group is an opportunity for support and discussion for people on the autism spectrum. This group is a "safe space" for our community and is most recommended for people who identify with autism or Asperger's Syndrome themselves. Family members, friends, and partners are also encouraged to contact us about relevant events in the area.

Find us at the West Springfield Public Library the first Thursday of the month from 6:15pm to 7:45pm. We meet in the conference room upstairs.

Adults 18+ who identify with autism, Asperger's, or other murky labels. For a number of reasons, including the difficulty of getting a diagnosis as an adult, a formal clinical diagnosis is not required.

This group is run by Building Autistic Community, Inc; find out more about our programs for adults on the autism spectrum at our website here, or e-mail us at [masked].

Note that most of us do not subscribe to Meetup.com and the average group size ranges from five to eight people despite what the site may say.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
