B’s will explore some “out and backs” along the summit then lunch at the Summit Store (and B’s can easily take shortcuts to reduce the climbing). C’s, D’s and E’s descend to Scotts Valley for lunch at Erik’s Deli before tackling the Mountain Charlie climb. D’s add Rodeo Gulch, while the E’s take an extended route that adds Corralitos and Eureka Canyon. Rain cancels.

The ladies kicked butt on the C ride. I was the kaboose at the end of the train!

Hey, no getting me in trouble. After lunch I did move up to barely hang on with some D's. And not the crazy ones that added in an extra loop after Mountain Charlie.

Haha, Anthony--not getting you into trouble but you are fast! Glad you found your group, though you are welcome to ride with us anytime. And myabe I'll join the D's someday too... ;-)

    Are mountain bikes OK?

    April 10, 2013

    • Cindy A.

Yes, it's free but a little limited so it's best to carpool or park closely together. :-)

Thanks. I changed from B to C at the last minute, which worked out nicely.

I'm back!!!! It feels good being able to ride with the "C" group again after breaking my pelvis back in February. Today was my first full LDT with the C's since being broken 10 weeks ago.

Thanks Cindy, I'm feeling good, just the normal stiffness of riding 50 miles with 5200 feet of climbing. And I plan to ride the Sunday ride today as well.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
