Migratory Way - through the Patch to see the birds

We start by crossing  the 11th street bridge off Avenue "A" in in Turners Falls, taking the second left onto G Street, and driving about .4  miles to meet up in the the parking lot at the end.  We will walk the west side of the Power Canal canal along Migratory Way to see the various birds that rest in the waters ahead of the power station. Bring your camera.

This walk is on flat, paved roads the whole way.  We may decide to return on the path under the power lines.   This is a mostly on-leash walk, with an off-leash option if we walk the power line trail.

It was a terrific, easy walk by the canal. The chihuahuas thoroughly enjoyed themselves and slept the rest of the day! It was nice to not have to struggle with ice, snow and melt underfoot. Thanks.

On leash? I'll bring the chihuahuas. They'll love it.
