It was good. Very basic tips on getting you to 'think outside the box' when it comes to photography. What I thought was nice was the fact the Kathy's photos were all straight OOC (out of the camera) and some were point & shoot and others were DSLR. It was short, but filled with great tips for any photographer of any level.

I didn't make it to Missoula in time :( Sounds like it was a great time though!

Overall it was about recognizing self imposed "rules" you follow when taking photos, then purposely breaking these rules to go new places with your photography. Experiment! Showed some wonderful images, and some great ideas for getting out of the box. Especially liked a couple of the "overexposed" images, those with camera movement, slow shutter speeds, and one taken from foot level without looking through the viewfinder. Excellent presenter!

Very interesting, it gave you many new ideas to think about. Yes I have spun my camera around, very interesting.

Kathy Eyster's presentation was good - she advocated "playing" with your camera - deliberately breaking your photographic rules - to see what results you get. It was well organized and presented. She promised to distribute a copy of the presentation to all who signed up for it. I'll pass mine along to you when I get it.

Oh, well. It was over early - before I got there. How was it?
