After skipping March meet-up, we are back for April with an invited speaker: Jeffry Morris from Couchbase.

Jeffry will be giving a presentation on Relational to Big Data without the Batching: Couchbase Server and Incremental Map-Reduce

Couchbase is the company behind the Couchbase open source project, a vibrant community of developers and users of Couchbase document-oriented database technology. The flagship product, Couchbase Server, is a packaged version of Couchbase technology that’s available in Community and Enterprise Editions. Couchbase is known for easy scalabilityconsistent high performance24x365 availability, and a flexible data model. Their list of users includes big names like AOL, Cisco, Concur, LinkedIn, Orbitz,, Ticketmaster and Viber among many others around the world.

Jeff Morris is a Developer Advocate at Couchbase, Inc. and a former Enterprise Architect at a large media company. Jeff has over 14 years’ experience developing and architecting systems under a variety of platforms and technology, but primarily using Microsoft solutions.

    Does the presentation start at 5:30 or is there a pizza meet-n-greet until 6:30pm?

      We tend to start intro around 6:00 after pizza and meet and greet. The talk would probably start around 6:15
