I am in seat M2.  This is one of the smaller theaters (theater 3), so I suggest you get a ticket ASAP.  (Not one of the screening rooms but not a whole lot bigger.)

A contemporary reimagining of Henry James' novel, WHAT MAISIE KNEW tells the story of a captivating little girl's struggle for grace in the midst of her parents' bitter custody battle. Told through the eyes of the title's heroine, Maisie navigates this ever-widening turmoil with a six-year-old's innocence, charm and generosity of spirit.

Stars Julianne Moore and (great English comedian) Steve Coogan as the parents, with Alexander Skarsgaard, (the blond vampire hunk from True Blood!!--an occasionally great guilty pleasure on HBO for those who don't watch).

84% on Rotten Tomatoes, folks!

Dinner after the movie at my fave--Backhouse across the street and one block west of the theater.   http://www.yelp.com/biz/the-backhouse-los-angeles

Please post a comment on this page if you want to go so I can make reservations! We can just walk over after the movie but on a Saturday night we might need to call for a table.  Thanks!

Update: Thursday at 11 a.m. Tickets still not available on Landmark website. The Landmark site usually posts them on Friday afternoon. I will update the link on this page when tickets are for sale for this screening.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
