A 'Girlfriends' group for women 25+ to get together for monthly Bunco games nights. If you don't know how to play Bunco, it's very easy to learn. I want Ladies to join who are interested in building long term friendships. We will have a MONTHLY game. Games are scheduled for the 3rd WEDNESDAY evening each month. In some cases the hostess will ask for a different night. This can be discussed. The location will be determined in January game for the following months. Everyone who joins this group and attends game nights is required to be a hostess and Pick Their Theme. You are responsible for game space for 12 or more players, plates, napkins, utensils, water, coffee and ice. This can be hosted at your house, a Friend's house or a gathering place that allows for us to play our game and bring food and drinks. These are leisurely games, it is a social time, for fun. We have a buffet style dinner, for which we ask everyone to bring a dish, keeping with the theme, if the hostess has chosen one. Please sign up or leave a message in the comments as to what you will be bringing on game night, so we don't run into having duplicates! The evening will run from about 6:30 (or 7:00) to 9:30 - 10:00pm
$8.00 due in cash at each game to cover prize fund, plus $1.00 "I Love Bunco" pot💰 fee (Dues). Prizes awarded to winners (please bring correct amount in bills!) 100% of this money goes towards the prizes given to the players in attendance, at the end of total rounds played, in the form of gifts or cash (this is the host's choice).
If you cancel within 48 hours of the event, or are a no-show, you will send the $7 to the host for prize money.
Prizes are managed by the Organizer & Host, given out for Most Wins, Most Buncos, Most Mini Buncos (Funcos), and Mascott. Our Mascott is a (TBD) . Each time someone gets a Bunco, they yell loudly and the Mascot is thrown to them. Whoever is holding (Mascott's name) at the end of the game wins the Mascott rize. We play with 8, 12, or 16 players. 1 or 2 over this number are alternates and will plan to attend, hang out and play for those who can't make it. 3 over and we play with a "ghost" player. No more than 1 ghost player per game - period! (standard Bunco rules, keeps it fair and consistent to all ;-)
Our no show policy is as follows: If you RSVP yes and do not show up or cancelthe day of the event two times, you will be dropped from the group. A cancellation on the date of the event is the same as a no show. Please be courteous to the hostesses who have put a lot of effort into opening their homes and preparing for the Bunco. If a hostess has the need to cancel, please make sure to do so as soon as possible so that people traveling to the Bunco are notified in enough time. Please change any details for the night by the Monday before the Bunco. Thanks for your consideration of others.
