Christian/atheist discussion on death (on the internet)

  • May 23, 2012 · 9:00 AM

This is a live internet podcast radio show by a Christian counselor, Rick Livingston. There will be a chance for callers to call-in with their questions and comments. Rick will have a conversation (maybe a light debate?) with an atheist about different viewpoints on understanding death. The atheist is Bernie Dehler, a former evangelical Christian, and now Secular Humanist.

Here's the link for the show, for you to listen and participate.

    Chris said:
" I find science as less than adequate in the understanding of any real world and have failed to find meaning in a dictionary."

I found 'meaning' in the dictionary. It is right after 'meander' and before 'meanwhile.' ;-)

It's interesting that people who believe in life after death don't have a higher moral sense than people who don't. If the carrot of heaven isn't enough to keep people from treating others badly, why should humans believe in it?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
