it was one of the pages meetup thinks I might enjoy.
I am very skeptically minded. I am really into the philosophy behind science so I am currently reading Karl Popper (among several other good authors). My religious experience is mostly third hand as my parents do not appreciate institutional religion. However, I have met plenty of atavistic religious types and attended a few events. My parents are a different breed of scientifically opposed- pseudoskeptics and new agers. I am an economics major but I have studied music in the past. I am well versed in the fundamentals of science as should be expected of any member of society and perhaps better. Evolution is a fact and failure to realize that means one does not understand evolution.
I am a rabid atheist.
I am still very new and it isn't what I was expecting but I am not sure what I was expecting either. If everyone in the group has the mutual respect that Pastor Lewis and Chaplain Dehler were exemplars of this night, then this group has surpassed my wildest hopes.
