Thanks for hosting this Rose! I hadn't heard of this event before. Had to leave early and loved most of the 25 soups I tried. I now have some more restaurants that I need to try. I'm asking my boss for a raise Monday so I can afford to go to them all.

This was awesome! Crowded, but that made it easier to bring the kids, to drown out the noise ;-). We plan to make this a yearly event for us!

I plan to be at the stadium about 10:30-40 to get in line. My cell #[masked] - call or text prefer text since it will be noisy. We'll plan to connect once inside the venue. Bring a jacket that you feel comfortable ditching on a chair and then we'll start getting some soup. They will give you a small tray so you can fill it up with the samples before heading back to eat. Last year water & sodas were free but bring a couple extra $$ just in case they charge this year. Also, don't forget to check out the silent auction in the back of the venue. If you haven't bought your ticket yet, they are $25 at the door for singles, $45 for family pass.

    Se you there!

p.s. Parking is free. Park on the side facing the river. You wil see lots of cars. And the entrance is on that side too. Just look for all the people.

I just tried to order tickets online using both Firefox and IE. On neither browser was the website where you would enter credit card information shown as secure. I am ascared. I sent them an email and I am going to call them on Monday. I'll report what they tell me but unless you see a "https" in the URL field you should be very wary of sending any sensitive personal information, including your credit card number.

It's fixed! The explanation that I was given was the website was always secure, however now your browser should show it as such. See you then!

If the browser wasn't showing it as secure, then it probably wasn't. Just because a website says they are doesn't mean the connection is secure. It was good that you called, Dan.

FYI: The website to buy tickets is/and always was secure. See Dan's messages below. Thanks Dan for following up.
