The last Meetup here came up as a topic of discussion (at another Meetup tonight) as being awesome food and a return trip was warranted. This is limited to 10 people since the extra two ate alone at the last event. I was one of the two.
Afterward, the owner's daughter offered to comp my meal (but I had already paid) or buy me a drink, I said "No, but thank you for the offer". She hugged me an offered to accept a reservation on our next visit even though they don't take reservations. But in the event they have forgotten me, be prepared for a little bit of a wait. This place is incredibly popular!
I love a good brunch location - ethnic or not. A great way to start your Sunday morning. I know 10:30 am is early for some of you, but we can beat the church crowd. Trust me, they can get crazy busy.
Follow up with a trip to the Nashville Farmers' Market nearby to load up on veggies and whatever else your heart desires. Or maybe even a trip to The Cupcake Collection a few streets over - the ONLY place I buy cupcakes in town. You'll never think about Gigi's again...
I'm a little partial to the "Germantown West Benny": A house specialty! Two sunny side up eggs, topped with smoked salmon, sauteed organic spinach, cherry tomatoes, onions, homemade Hollandaise sauce and capers on an English Muffin. They are also known for their "Bananas Foster Pancakes" and "Fish & Grits (Grilled or Blackened)".
