It changes! I can't get enough of something and then burn myself out. Then, I'm on to the next "food group" only to find myself "full circle". I would rather eat ethnic every meal/everyday of my life if I could.
Ginger Thai, Peter's Sushi, Mesob Ethiopian Restaurant, VN Pho & Deli, Tamarind Indian Bistro, Shabu Shabu House and Louisiana Seafood Company (for crawfish and live pissed off blue crabs).
I thought it was raw stingray (coated in cayenne pepper) or dried octopus, when I was about 12 (thank you, mama Ok Cha) - until I tried CHICKEN FEET just a few short years ago! The most interesting, different and DISGUSTING thing I've ever had. I've also eaten rattlesnake which gave me severe stomach pains, NEVER again!
I was introduced at the tender age of 6 to kimchi, at 10 to sushi and a few years later to pho and I spent everyday in the Korean & Vietnamese kitchens of my best friends watching their mothers cook and learning about their cultures.
