Hello!

We are a group of local Vegetarians and Vegans who enjoy getting together. About once a month we meet at a local coffee shop to talk about our lives, our diets, and our families. We have also held information booths at public events, and the responses have been overwhelmingly positive. We've gone on "field trips" to a Vegan restaurant in the Akron area, and celebrated World Vegetarian Day a bit late with a potluck. More recently we've held several health topic nights at the Ohio County Library, run a coffee hut in Cambridge to benefit an animal rescue, and helped prep a new health food store for opening.

Also look for our expanded website to be up in the next few months (work schedules willing).

As you can see, we're a pretty active group and we're always looking for new ways to get involved in our community. That being said, please don't feel like you have to be at every single event. Feel free to come as often or as little as you are able.

Families and friends are welcome at our events. The general feeling is the more the merrier. We've been asked "do I (and/or my significant other/friend) have to be vegan or vegetarian to attend?". No, we're open to anyone interested in the veggie-lifestyle, but we do ask that you follow a vegetarian diet at our meetings.
