The Long Pigs (Theatre Event)

YELLOW EVENT

Join us for the premiere of THE LONG PIGS, a profound, stylistically and visually arresting performance rooted in physical and black comedy.

Located in a rickety shack that acts as their factory, three paranoid comrades work, play and ritualize as their thrilled muttering drives their joy while a pile of shiny red noses emerge from beneath a rusty bucket.

Perceived as an underground clown cult, The Long Pigs takes its title from the Melanesian Pidgin phrase for “human flesh”, where three black nose clowns have been scalping clown noses and slicing the very symbol of innocence off their once red nose cousins.

In a murky soup of mutual distrust and suspicion, promises made are constantly broken and the gang ultimately turns on itself in a fatally funny and destructive climax.

HOW TO FIND US:
Go down the stairs into the venue and we will be waiting at the bar between 7:15pm and 7:45pm (the show starts at 8pm).   I will, as usual have the big white teddy.
If you can't find us or are running late, please call Miriam on[masked]

Do people want to go for dinner after? The show goes until 9 so, if you like, i could make a dinner booking for 9:30pm somewhere? If yes, does anyone have recommendations for where to eat in the city close-ish to flinders lane?
