Farm Tour at Redwood Hill Farm & Creamery

This is not our regular monthly meeting, but an extra opportunity for us to join Redwood Hill for their farm tours (scheduled for April 9, April 10, May 7, and May 8---11AM to 3PM).  You can visit any of those days, but we will inform Redwood of our club members attending on April 10 so they can be ready for us.

They will cancel the tours in the event of rain.

The farm is kid friendly, and you may even get a chance to milk the goats.  Redwood printed the following info about the tours:

"At our Annual Spring Tours discover the history of Redwood Hill Farm and learn about our sustainable farming practices.  Meet our wonderful employees, milk a goat and play with the baby goats, shop our "farm store" and sample our complete line of Redwood Hill Farm yogurt and artisinal farmstead cheeses.  Bring a cooler and ice, all of our award-winning cheeses, yogurt and kefir will be available for purchase along with tee shirts, books and other "goaty" items.

Please RSVP here and we'll inform them our expected turnout.

We really enjoyed the event, but we never found the other Meetup memebers. Next time, when the meetup is at a crowed event, we should have a specific place to meet at the location.

Redwood Hill has a great setting out amongst the dense oaks and redwoods of west county. There are lots of tables for picnicking. Anyone attending in May...I'd recommend taking a picnic, maybe something to go with their cheeses. They do tastings but no lunches. Definintely great for kids! You can see my boy, Henry, with the goats in the photos section.

I live out in Valley Ford, but would like to carpool if it's feasible... anyone between V.F. and Thomas Rd.? I could meet up and go or pick-up, either way...

Henry

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
