Please bring a snack or drinks to share with the group.  As we get closer to the date, please post what you are bringing so we don't have duplicates.

Thanks, everyone!

Event created with the new date and book suggestions, let me know! :)

Amanda, I think you will need to contact Erika R., Angie, or Kristen Mumaw to have the event created (I don't think Bobbi gets messages through meetup). Since you'll be the event host, you can pick the book or offer suggestions and have everyone vote or ask for suggestions--whatever you want to do. My suggestion would be for whatever you decide to post it on the new event page so everyone can see it. I apologize if you know all this already :)

Nope, this is great! I'll get that taken care of this weekend! :)

Did we decide yet which book we're reading?

So I checked with Honeygo park about the Pavilions and it's a 5 hour minimum for the rental and cost $140, so I think picnic blankets would be just fine. Heheh should I create the events, April 21 T 12:30? Let me know. :)

I had such a fun time tonight with everyone! I'm so glad I was able to come to this event. Book discussion was great, food was delicious and good company. :)

Hey ladies, I'll make polenta squares. Kylene, let me know if that's too close to your finger sandwiches, I could bring a variety of olive oil dips with some good bread instead. :)

I'm stopping at Wegmans on my way home from work tonight. I could buy a cheese plate. Is that ok, or should I bring something else?

    March 19, 2013

    • Kylene

      That would be great.

My apologies ladies but I have a scheduling conflict that's of an urgent matter. Hope to see you all next time.

One more thing...my apartment building can be tricky to find. Use the Joppa Road entrance. If you are coming from Silver Spring, make a right onto Joppa and the next right into the complex. Then, make the second left onto Blairwood, as you enter the parking area stay to the right. You can park in any available spot.

    Hi Ladies,

I hope everyone is enjoying or enjoyed the book. I'm going to make Italian finger sandwiches and have bruschetta. It would be great if everyone could post what they are bringing (if you haven't already). Or, update your RSVP if you can't make it. If you haven't finished the book by Tuesday, don't worry, come to the meetup anyway. Our discussions tend to be pretty laid back.

I look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
