      June 27

  • Rob B.

I have one request, can we have some "real spicy" crawfish during the boil process? The spicier the better for me, thank you very much.

    3 · June 27

    • JoN

I agree on the spicy factor. We are going to have multiple pots going. Maybe I'll make mine the extra spicy one. Feel free to bring some Tony C's and any extra hot sauce you might have lying around... So we can get that extra flavor going!

      2 · June 27

    • Karen Marie M.

WE CAN DEFINITELY DO HOT! I like HOT!

Please bring the other items. If wanna discuss gimme a call. [masked] thanks for asking! :)

I will Post to my other meet-ups if you don't mind. People you do random sh*t, HR FEN, and HR girlfriends.
If you join these groups I can make you the host.

    June 21

    • JoN

Make sure they are Saints fans! Been talking to Karen and others... and this is a SAINTS FAN event, not just a random people who want to hang out and eat crawfish event. I like hanging out with people; but if we were all inviting all of our friends that we just want to hang out with, we would have hundreds of people. We can hang out with the rest on the 4th. So make sure the ones coming from other groups are WHO DATS!!! :-)

      6 · June 27

    • JoN

And also make sure they RSVP here, or we're not going to have planned for them!

      2 · June 27

  • JoN

While we make sure we have the pot/basket/burner/propane thing sorted... Is anyone planning on bringing coolers and/or ice? I don't know if we need somewhere to keep drinks cool. Also, it's always good to have a separate cooler for clean ice, without having cans (and people's hands reaching in to grab them) or anything else dirtying it up.

Depending on what else I'm packing down, I might be able to bring a big yellow construction-style water cooler to hold clean ice, if needed.

    1 · May 18

    • JoN

Amy, are you bringing the pot and basket? Do we need a burner and/or propane tank for the pot to go on?

Aaron Bethel Park in Hampton is owed by Langley Air Force and open to public. It's is a great location... large Pavilions are $60 with seating, grills, etc. With this park being on Federal property the local authorities do not patrol so we can have alcohol, boil crawfish, etc.

    1 · May 25

  • Ellee

Aww man! Guess where I will be on Jun 29th???? Landing in NOLA! Damn my luck!

    May 21

    • JoN

      Gah!

You just don't like hanging out with us, do you Ellee? ;)

      1 · May 22

    • Ellee

Haha Jon! I've missed you guys something fierce. I'm thrilled that I'll be on NOLA, but super bummed I'll miss the meet up! :(

      May 22

  • Ellee

(Ummm...here's a thought...I fly back on 12 Jul and I get two bags fly free....I could pack a suitcase full of wee mud bugs! LOL)

    May 21

    • JoN

Well... don't get the wee ones!

You should totally bring a cooler to NOLA, and fly back with some live crawfish. I'll be about ready for some more, and I'd totally come over and cook them up for you.

      May 22

  • Karen Marie M.

Cornhole anyone? We definitely have the room?

    May 21

    • JoN

      I'm game!

      May 22

  • Malina

Hey all! I've missed all you crazy folk and am looking forward to seeing you all. Working on Saturday will make this a no-go for me. Just going to echo Jon's statement of Sunday being more feasible (that's why football works so well for me!) Hope you guys have a great time. I'll catch you another time.

    May 18

  • Karen Marie M.

I will have corn already too so no need for anyone to buy any.

    May 18

  • Aaron D.

I'm not opposed to a Sunday...how does June 29th work for everyone?

    2 · May 18

    • Alvin & Shaylene H.

It doesn't matter to us. Just let us know what y'all decide. As long as it isn't June 21 or 22 we're in. :)

      May 18

  • JoN

I think the 29th would be great!

    1 · May 18

  • Karen Marie M.

    That works for us!!!

    May 18

  • Karen Marie M.

Unless picked another Sunday. That weekend is also big graduation weekend too.

    May 18

  • JoN

I have a large pot with steel basket, a couple of burners, coolers, table, maybe some zatarain's seasoning somewhere. Sunday would be much better than Saturday, though, for both me and Malina (who works on Saturdays). We could probably get a few more of our friends (like Nate and Chad, who have come out to games with us) on Sunday, too. If Sundays are bad for people, though, I'm not trying to cause issues. Just letting you know our situations. And since we usually get together on Sundays during football season anyway, I figured it might work for others, as well. ;)

    May 18

    • Karen Marie M.

I have a huge bag of boil seasoning too that Sunday is Father's Day that might stop alot of people from coming.

      May 18

  • Alvin & Shaylene H.

YAY!!! We can't wait!! Its been a long overdue meet up!!! I've missed everyone! :)
