Kefir and Butter Making Demonstration, Meet the Owner of Snowville Creamery!

Join Dawn Griffith Molina (NTP), of Sunrise Nutritional Therapy in her fabulous demonstration kitchen. Dawn will share with you the health reasons why dairy foods should be a part of your daily diet.  She will also discuss how dairy products can be used for healing, and why they are important for growing children and athletes. She will also offer advice on dairy alternatives for those who have problems with this important food.

Meet our exciting special guest, "The Dairy Evangelist", Warren Taylor, and taste some of his delectable new yogurts with exotic flavors, Coffee Cardamon, Turmeric Mace, Lemon Ginger. Warren's company, Snowville Creamery also has a fabulous new creme fraiche coming on the market. He has generously offered to do a tasting and dairy demonstration, he will show us how to make milk kefir and even butter!

Once you fall in love with his products, you'll be asking the Whole Foods dairy case manager in your neighborhood to stock his delicious new offerings!

Snowville Creamery is an Ohio company with wonderful grass-fed, un-homogenized milk, lightly pasteurized at the minimum allowable temperature. It is sold only in Ohio and the DC metro area.

Take home some kefir grains to try on your own! Warren's kefir grains have been colonizing and maturing and in continual use since 1978, so they are some ancient grains!

PARKING:  Unfortunately, the Molina's driveway is not large enough to accommodate our cars. Please carpool if you can.  Here are the parking options:

1-There is no parking on the street (Van Buren), but there is parking in the neighborhood (about 2 short blocks away in all directions).

2-The Molina's live directly cross the street from St. Timothy Episcopal church. The driveway to the church is in front of the house (you can't miss it :-)). Please feel free to park in the church parking lot. When you get to the top of the church driveway please turn left, and park to the far left. If there are events at the church, the spaces closest to the church are reserved for the church.

Your Hosts, Red and Dawn Molina!

Anyone coming from/through Arlington who would like to carpool?

    • Lili

Hi Julia, I live next to West Falls Church metro, if you want a ride, I can pick you up at the West Falls Church metro. I also work in Arlington so I'll be taking the metro from Arlington to W.F.C then going by car from there.

This sounds great, but unfortunately I need to work tonight on my nutrition business and can't make it.

I hope you will offer this or other demos in the future and perhaps on a weekend for easier commuting. Enjoy tonight!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
